E-waste must be placed at the curbside as a bulk item on your Pre-Scheduled Bulk Days or electronics can be brought to the Street and Sanitation Department located at 2303 Hamstrom Road, Portage, IN 46368 during our normal operating hours.

Recycling & Trash Collection
The state of Indiana classifies wet paint as a hazardous material and unsafe for regular landfill placement. Sanitation will take your paint if it is completely dry (some people mix it with kitty litter).
